Raised in a two hundred acre wood in Eastern Iowa, I had a childhood full of exploration, nature and appreciation for handcrafted goods. Equipped with basic art supplies and a vintage Singer sewing machine (which made it all the way from elementary school to grad school), I've made creations for people across the United States.

Depending on the project, I alternate between watercolor, gouache, oil and acrylic.  I capture inspiration from real life and imagination with my best ideas developing from observing, problem solving and inventing in my daily life.  I live in Westlake -the West part of Austin, TX with my husband, children, Boston Terrier, Pug, chickens and honeybees.
